Marco Baldi is an extremely talented Italian artist from Liguria. Drawing inspiration from the timeless beauty of Greek and Roman art and guided by Hekate, he is an emerging voice within the contemporary neopagan art scene. His works, which captures his personal understanding of the gods, are the result of endless dedication, study, devotion, and artistic practice.
Marco kindly agreed to be interviewed and shares with us his thoughts on art, divine inspiration, and magic. Art and magic, after all, have much in common: both are acts of transformation, ways of shaping raw matter, emotions, and ideas into something meaningful, beautiful, and sacred. The creative process can itself become a form of devotion, a bridge between the visible and the unseen, and art is one of the many paths through which transformation can take place.
