Hello!

I'm David and I've been on the pagan and Hecatean path for 20 or more years. I am also a henotheist; I believe that all other gods exist and deserve respect, however I only have a true devotional practice with Hecate.

I believe that we should learn what we can about the ancient gnoses and history of the gods, but that we should not permit it to restrict our views of the gods as they are ever-changing and ever-evolving. I presented at the Hekate Symposium 2024 giving a presentation in which I spoke of the evolution of the gods'--Hecate's--symbols, both historical and modern.

I am passionate about the idea that devotional and magickal work is not/cannot be one-size-fit-all. Everyone's path is solitary, regardless of how many covens/communities one belongs to. What rites or spells work well for someone else, might not work at all for you.

Hecate has been an influential and powerful force throughout the highs and lows of my life. Through her divine inspiration I've begun my own devotional tradition called The Path of the Eternal Flame, which carries with it a reframed cosmology. I have hopes of formally founding my Sanctuary to Hecate with the Covenant some day.
