The reason I have started as a Keybearer and Membership Centre is to guide people on their path with Hekate, and to be the person I needed when I was looking for guidance myself. I want to encourage people to keep learning about Hekate and themselves, and to keep developing myself too.

I had a history in paganism and was initially drawn to the Dianic traditions for its female-focused and empowering energy of the feminine divine. Being a lesbian, the idea that a group of women could come together in the face of patriarchal control was exactly what I needed in my life and felt drawn to all personifications of female power.

Our next spotlight is on Sandra Maria Streit, a Torchbearer of the Covenant of Hekate, founder of the Sanctuary of Hekate Kourotrophos, and an Ovate within OBOD. She lives in northern Germany. A priestess, witch, druid, and Tarot reader, she has been walking pagan and magical paths for over 30 years. Her work focuses on devotional practice, accessible community spaces, and making well-researched information about Hekate available to German-speaking seekers and devotees.
