There are many different kinds of books about Hekate. Some explore her history, some focus on magic, and others offer mythology, scholarship or personal reflection. Justin Bennett’s Hekate: Prayers & Devotions for the Crossroads is a shorter book with a clear devotional purpose: it offers prayers for those who wish to speak to Hekate directly.

This is not an academic study, and it does not try to be. It is a focused collection of original prayers arranged around themes central to Hekate’s modern devotion, including invocation, crossroads, protection, sacred darkness, transformation and devotion.
