I'm Valentina, an Italian Witch in her late 30s. I love using the name Artemis in honor of the very first Goddess that struck me when I was a teen and had no idea about the Neo-Pagan movement, and still I felt her name very close to me.

I've been following the Pagan Ways since 2009; my very first steps were inspired by solitary Wicca, and I explored mostly the Celtic spirituality. There I found The Morrigan, Brigid and The Cailleach, whom are still very much part of my practice - in fact, between Ostara and Litha 2025 I joined the Ord Brighideach (the Order of Brighid) as Keeper of Brigid's Sacred Flame, and the Isle of Wight Order of Druids (aka IWOD). I also have a strong connection to the Nordic tradition, having welcomed Loki into my life in 2020. (To be fair, he's been around since my Dad read me the Nordic myths when I was a child, but this is another story.) I only made peace with my multipantheon practice when, thanks to my partner, I managed to open the door to the Kemetic Deities as well, dealing mostly with Sekhmet, Bastet, Isis and Seth. I feel this Mediterranean turn, as I call it, opened my mind enough to get back to the very own roots of my pen name.

Around Beltane 2024 I welcomed Athena and Artemis into my life and practice, soon followed by Hekate. It took me till August 2025 to celebrate my very first Deipnon in her honor - strange as it may sound, I had some issues with accepting her presence.

Hekate feels like home, though, like an energy I've known all my life and was just missing a specific name. So, in November 2025 I decided to join the Covenant, and here I am!
